Cool ideas Pam, can't wait to see them in person. :)Kathrynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03834276695991711627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3371356377855803175.post-28445124929607343782010-01-06T15:36:08.612-05:002010-01-06T15:36:08.612-05:00I just found your blog today through My Country Ho...I just found your blog today through My Country Home.
I love how the drawer turned out. Looks great with your old canning jars in it. I might steal your idea.

Personally I would just paint the window black. I think it would really pop behind the wall color.

~ TashaTasha Poseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09791907583861960413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3371356377855803175.post-14802833001436541572010-01-06T15:55:38.184-05:002010-01-06T15:55:38.184-05:00Everyone seems to be in a cold pattern lately. It was kind a heat wave here today....it's almost 30° at nearly 4pm...Whoo hoo! lol

Sometimes with makeovers, it doesn't go the way we think. I have kind of learned over time that I don't start a project unless I am absolutely certain that I know what color I want it to be. And if it's not going well, it's usually best to put the item down and come back to it later, when again you are sure you know what you want. Sometimes we're just not in the mood to make decisions.

You could always hang your window back up and leave it for now. The reason for this is that maybe you will grow to love it, it's just the shock of the change that you can't see past right now. I know many people would talk about painting a room only to repaint it the same day. I learned if I wasn't totally in love with it, to wait and within a few days, my opinion would change. I just had to get used to the change :)

Happy crafting :)

LeslieLesliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08363484064329617743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3371356377855803175.post-24430158211529055442010-01-06T19:31:37.190-05:002010-01-06T19:31:37.190-05:00Love how your drawer turned out! I'm sure you will get it how you like it eventually!
Hugs,
DonnaDonna~One Simple Country Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09386112721487172023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3371356377855803175.post-15419716708184501192010-01-07T04:59:39.349-05:002010-01-07T04:59:39.349-05:00Thanks ladies for your ideas about the window.
