I was on craftgawker and found the cutest blog about beaded shoes. Check out these lovelies and the tutorial on Aunt Peaches blog. So the next time I'm at Goodwill, a thrift store, or a garage sale, I'm going to look for some old, funky, groovey (Kate, that's for you) jewelry and some sandals and start creating!
Have you been to craftgawker yet? There's also foodgawker, dwellinggawker, and weddinggawker - or you could just go to gawkerverse and check them all out.
Happy Memorial Day! Spend it with someone you love <3

Thanks for the grooovey shout out!! lol! I love those shoes and will def check out that website. How fun!
Hey Pam - I bought a pair of beaded shoes and love them - only problem is that I am a KLUTZ and hit them on the side of my car trying to get in (yes, that was embarrassing) and knocked off a whole row of beads (picture a pearl necklace tearing apart). Not fun! I'd suggest stringing them AND glue!!!
fun shoes ~ thanks for sharing!
thanks also for stopping by and leaving your kind words on my porch swing makeover ~ i really appreciate it!!
Pam, pam, pam - where are you? No "love my country home" blog posts - what am I to do with my time?
