My oldest son turned 16 yesterday. Somehow it doesn't seem possible that 16 years have gone by since he was born. I remember moving into a new house when he was 11 or 12 days old, when he went to preschool, his first time trick-or-treating, catching frogs when he was 5, his first babysitter other than a relative, the first day of kindergarten, when he learned to ride a bike, his love for animals, how happy he was when his little brother was born, all of the elementary school parties and programs, dirt bike races, then it was junior high and high school, basketball practices and games, the first girlfriend, and taking drivers ed. More recently it has been looking for a car, a broken hand, and talk about finding a job. My little boy is growing up. We celebrated Kyle's birthday at Texas Roadhouse last night.

Sitting on the birthday saddle and having everyone sing happy birthday to him. |
I think he had a nice day ;) I can't wait to see what memories are made this next year.

I noticed that he celebrated as close to TEXAS as he could get - maybe he needs to come back for a visit - when he drives, I believe a ROAD TRIP is in order!!!
They would love to go back to Texas and they think TRH has the best ribs. I agree - ROAD TRIP!!
I'm coming too since I didn't get to go earlier!! I want to celebrate with him. 16 - yikes!! :-)
